Due to the quarantine measures in force in the country, tourists were transported by Russian Embassy vehicles from their hotels to the venue of the festive event. Upon arrival, the Embassy doctor conducted a rapid medical examination of each guest, and they were also given medical masks and disinfectants.
All the treats on the tables, namely: Easter cakes, pies, Easter colored eggs, etc. were prepared by the employees of the Russian Orthodox Church, Russian Embassy and their family members. The festive atmosphere was supported by familiar Russian music, which was broadcast live from the personal radio station of the RCSC.
The event was attended by more than 70 people, who were congratulated by the Russian Ambassador to Nepal, H.E. Alexander Novikov, Director of RCSC, Yulia Androsova, and other employees. The audiences were also given a tour of the territory of the RCSC, which was accompanied by a brief description of the main activities of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Nepal.
Tourists and employees of Russian Federation communicated in an informal setting, a warm friendly atmosphere accompanied the event, no one wanted to disperse, but a special flight was planned for April 20, which would bring citizens of Russia and the CIS countries to Moscow. For this reason, after the organized delivery of tourists to their hotels, the employees of the Russian Embassy continued close interaction and solving organizational issues with the Department of Migration of Nepal, the administration of the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, the Civil Aviation Administration, so that tourists return to their homeland according to plan and in comfort.
