Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University (Kaliningrad, Russia) invites international students who are learning Russian as a foreign language at the A2 level or higher to participate in the contest “Russian Dictation Online”.
Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University has been holding the contest since 2006. In 2021 the “Russian Dictation” contest celebrates its 15th Anniversary and for the first time in its history will be held online.
The “Russian Dictation” is not only a spelling competition for experts in the Russian language, but also a meeting with the living Russian Word and Text. The contest includes an open lecture on the topic of dictation.
The “Russian Dictation” will be held in two categories with texts adapted to the level of Russian language proficiency:
Level 1 – Russian speakers at the A2-B1 level
Level 2 – Russian speakers at the B2-C1 level
All participants of the "Russian Dictation" will receive e-certificates. The winners and nominees of the contest will receive special prizes!
The “Russian Dictation”is scheduled to take place on January 25, 2021. On this day, according to a tradition originated in 1850, Russian students celebrate their main holiday - the Tatyana Day, or the Russian Students Day.
The contest will be held using ZOOM! Start of the event is at 16:00 (UTC +2)!
